It's Sat. afternoon, I finally have time to update my xanga now that most of my midterms are over. here's alil recap of wat i've been doing since my last entry.

Thailand was a getaway from Hong Kong's bustling lifestyle. We went to Phuket, Thailand. The beach there was really nice but dirty, depends on what part. It kinda reminds me of Cancun. On the second day, we went to a little island called HaHa island and did water sports. I finally went parasailing ! After that, our tour guide took us to a shooting range, and I finally used a gun. But my shooting score was 7% , cuz I don't know how to aim. I swear my shooting instructor was laughing at me the whole time. We also go to ride on ATVs through grassy and muddy fields. I got mud all over myself, but I had sooo much fun. I love Thailand!!!!  On the third day, we took a 6 hour mini-van ride plus boat ride to Koi Samui  for the moon festival party. The party was basically a big fat rave at the beach. Damn it was crazy. People there were mostly Australians though.  There were at least 10 bars on the strip along the beach, and each playing different music. some were playing trance and some hip hop. I loved the atmosphere. But don't buy drugs from people there, cuz they give you fake stuff. Oh yeah, and don't leave your shoes lying around, cuz there are people like Lisa that will just steal your sandals, just cuz her's broke. :)

A little homesick but still having a blast in Hong Kong. I miss my mom though. sniff sniff. Anyway. I know I haven't been updating my xanga, it's just that i've been busy catching up with school work after the Thailand trip. I'm still not caught up yet, and i'm going on another trip to beijing TOMORROW!!!!...aaahhhhhh.... oh yeah, I turned 22 on wed...feeling old and young at the same time. Why is that I still look like i'm 12????...It doesn't make sense...Maybe i'll never look old...which is a good thing come to think of it. Wellz..haven't packed for beijing yet and i'm leaving in 5 hours, so i'll be back to update my xanga with pics later. Sorry!

Last weekend, me and Lisa went on a Guangzhou trip all by ourselves. EVERYTHING in Guangzhou is dirt cheap. It's even cheaper than Hong Kong. Dim sum there is only HK$3.80 per dish after 2:30pm. The first day we got there, we went to get our hair done and got a pedicure and manicure( altogether we spent less than $50 US dollars). The second day, we went shopping and bought hella stuff for cheap. I got two puma bags for hk$60  which is about 6 US dollars. Man, I just love Guangzhou. I'm definitely going to make plenty of trips here with Lisa..Haha..since she's the only one out of our group with multiple entries to China besides me. Thanks, Lisa for coming to Guangzhou with me and staying with my relatives. Oh yeah, Asian old people really think being fat is a good thing, because my God-mother kept saying how fat I got !!!!!! Omg....what a blow to my self-esteem and they don't even realize it. WHY ARE ASIAN PEOPLE SO BLUNT????? Nevertheless, I had a really fun time hanging out with Lisa in Guangzhou.

These are all of my floormates. We have these dinners with the whole dorm every month. They're called high table dinners. We have strict dresscodes for them too. White shirt, black closed-toe shoes, long black dress and a green gown...don't we look like choir girls???...

Me And my Roommate!!!!..Thank God i got a really cool roommate. She's really tall and really pretty. YAY to room 1208!!!!
